Janathakshan joined with number of other organizations to urge the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to consider Sri Lanka’s first proposal to GCF. The Independent Technical Advisory Panel (iTAP) has given last minute comments while not recommending the proposal on climate change adaptation without any room for providing comments. This proposal is very timely and very important since it addresses water and irrigation sector adaptation measures which are recognized in the draft National Adaptation Plan (NAPs) and Civil Society Climate Adaptation Action Plan. The letter to the Board Members of GCF ahead of its 13th Board meeting is shown here.  It is endorsed by 20 CSOs including Janathakshan
