Round Table Discussion on Technology Justice

Technology Justice is defined as the right of people to decide, chose and use technologies that assist them in leading the kind of life they value without compromising the ability of others and future generations to do the same.

Will greater understanding of Technology Justice help as Sri Lanka moves forward facing challenges as a middle income country?

The session will particularly examine Science Technology & Innovation (STI) and Trade & Commerce policies in Sri Lanka which are expected to stimulate technology capacity and practice in the country as it emerges from three decades of deadlock created by the war and plans to move forward.
